What a perfect place for a couple's getaway to Hawaii. Donna and Darryl provided such a lovely beach cottage in a perfect location on the north shore of Oahu. We stayed for 4 nights, and would have stayed for more! Would recommend this venue to anyone.

Well kept, laid back, cozy house with extras.
The cottage is right off the Kamehameha highway to a private parking spot and just a short walk out the back gate and down a path to the beach. So short I soon opted for no shoes no shirt transport. The house had everything I needed: water toys, beach towels, coolers, kitchen, WiFi (I was on a working trip). The washer/dryer and outdoor shower were an awesome bonus. Foodland and food trailers are in walking distance. Thanks Donna and Darryl.

Dream Getaway on the North Shore
This quaint cottage was perfect for our 4 night stay on the North Shore. After spending time in Honolulu we were so excited to drive up to this beach home and relax. The location was excellent. It's right off Kam Highway but tucked back behind a bike path, giving plenty of privacy. It was also conveniently located right between Shark's Cove and Sunset Beach. The private beach just a few steps behind the house was perfect and never crowded. There is a Foodland, surfboard and scuba gear rentals very close. The drive to Haleiwa took less than 5 minutes and there is a beginner surf beach (Chun's) just a 2 minute drive away. We also took advantage of the bikes and rode them to Shark's cove for some snorkeling. The cottage was clean and comfortable and there was everything you need for cooking at home. If you are looking for a "real" North Shore experience this is perfect. My husband and I both left saying we are definitely coming back and bringing the kids next time. We loved it!

Our perfect little home away from home
We stayed in this cottage for almost one month and could not have been more settled, comfortable and happy! The cottage has so much charm, you cannot help but fall in love with it and the North Shore.
For us the cottage was perfect. It is only small but certainly very adequate and very comfortable. We would recommend it to couples or couples with small children, although we had a 3rd adult stay with us for a short while and this was still fine. The kitchen is completely decked out with everything you may need - we cooked there frequently and felt right at home! The bedroom and bathroom were beautiful and all of the furnishings were all very clean, modern and very comfortable. The cottage has great bicycles, an outdoor shower, sun lounges and beach equipment and these were all well used and much appreciated by us! The location of the cottage is fantastic. It a few houses back back from Keiki Beach (easily the most beautiful and least busy stretch of beach on the NS) and it is walking distance to Waimea Bay, Foodland, down to Pipeline and beyond. We have been to the NS several times and we consider this one of the best places to stay!
The owners Darryl and Donna were great to deal with the entire time, from booking right through to check out, they had great communication and they were very friendly, polite and accommodating.
We LOVED our stay at our little hawaiian 'home away from home' and we hope to return in the near future :)

The Perfect Stress Reliever
This is our 3rd time at the cottage and everything went perfect as usual. This is such a perfect stress reliever that doctors should be able to prescribe this place to their patients for stress and the insurance companies should be able to pay for it. We didn't do a lot of planned activities this time we just hung out and took it easy. Spent a lot of time at the beach out back, Sharks Cove, And Haleiwa. A perfect vacation.

A great North Shore getaway! - December 2010
My husband and I could not have been happier with our stay at the Ke Iki Beach Cottage. It had everything we needed for a peaceful, relaxing, two-week getaway from Philly. It was extremely clean and very comfortable. It didn't take long to feel right at home. It was the perfect house for two. The walk to the beach is really short. Its location is about perfect. Famous surf breaks up and down the North Shore are a short bike ride away. Just about anything you need to leave your house for is a short bike ride or walk away! The home owners are very nice and friendly to speak with about questions we had on the house and the area in general. I could go on and on.... overall great place to stay! I would go back in a second!
