About the UnitDescription
Our cool Lower Residence sleeps 4 people with 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom. Walk directly out into the beautiful private tropical botanical gardens!
Hana Gardenland, 3.5 miles from Hana town, is a lush paradise retreat with 5 acres of pathways through palms, gardens, flowers and jungle.
Guests can wander the grassy pathways in the gardens, gather and enjoy avocados and many unusual tropical fruits and learn about the trees and plants though the botanical signs. Guests are referred to our eco tour activity guide of the Hana Coast.
The neighborhood is quiet. The lots are large so other houses are usually hidden behind the trees.
The Hawaiian Islands have some of the most remote and benign tropical rainforests in the world. Nevertheless, like any moist and fertile environment, Hana Gardenland is also home to insects like mosquitos, ants and roaches and little creatures like geckos that share this beautiful world with humans. During rainy periods, there can occasionally be tropical mildew smell in the houses.
Getting around Hana you'll need a car. Rent a car when you first arrive in Kahalui Maui.
Quiet hours are between 9 PM to 8 AM. Noise carries a long way, please respect our neighbors.
No excessive noise at any time.
Parking in driveway only.
No on-street parking allowed.
No parties or group gatherings for anyone other than registered guests.

We didn't get a chance to meet Robert on this trip, but the place was really nice and the garden was beautiful. Great experience.
Sam, November 2015
We stayed in Hana for two nights and Roberts place was just right. The location of the house was perfect and easy to find. If you want to experience Hana the only way is to stay there overnight. Roberts home was clean and comfortable and the property was perfect. You have to walk around the property.
Andrew, November 2015
Robert was easy to work with. Answered our questions promptly by messenger. The house was unlocked for us when we got there so we didn't have to arrive at a certain time. House was as pictured.
Loreen, July 2015
The house was very quiet and private. Very close to Hana town. The surrounding gardens were gorgeous.
