About the Unit
Hale Koa is a one-of-a-kind, resort-style luxury home designed around a central courtyard pool area with Bali cabana, firepots, and spilling water fountains. Sliding doors open on both sides of the living room, and both sides of the master bedroom, to look into the pool courtyard on one side and the blue Pacific ocean on the other.
There are 2 queen beds, 2 king beds, and two air mattresses.
Top quality features; hard-wood floors, Merbau windows and doors and the finest amenities possible. The home has also been used in designer photo shoots.
All rooms open to the beach or the courtyard pool area. Located on an almost-private sandy beach that is ideal for swimming and sunbathing. The sandbar creates ideal body surfing waves all year round, and the outer reef protects the swimmable area from large winter swells. Turtle Bay Resort, the Polynesian Cultural Center, and the famous North Shore surf is right down the road. The coastline to the south of the property all the way to Kaneohe offers great shoreline fishing - bonefish (oio), ulua, etc. This quiet country area has a waterfall hike across the street in lush tropical rain forest. Owner reserves right to rent to only one group per each 30 day period.
We would NEVER ask you to wire funds to any account.
We do not provide equipment or toys for the pool or any infant bedding. You can rent cribs and highchairs from Paradise Baby Co.

Perfect family vacation gathering
We had a wonderful time at Hale Koa. The home is set-up to accommodate multiple families -- our group compromised of grandma and two families with young children. The dining area and kitchen are large (and stocked with everything we needed for cooking meals) and each bedroom has a private bathroom. Three of the four bedrooms have ocean views so everyone was happy and two of the bedrooms were on the ground floor -- perfect for grandma. The location could not be better for outdoor activities -- we enjoyed swimming in the ocean and in the pool. The ocean floor is sandy and perfect for body boarding or swimming. On a clear day, we could see the bottom of the ocean floor past where the waves were breaking. The grass yard area was fairly large for the kids to run around, play ball and tag, and do cart wheels all day long. The caretaker was very friendly, helpful, available whenever we had a question. Thanks for sharing your home with us!

We used Hale Koa for a feature film we shot here in Hawaii. The property is amazing! Right on the beach with all of the luxury and amenities one could ask for.

"Thanks for a great Hawaiian vacation"
We loved staying in this home. This is a great example of living on the North Shore: not too fancy, but comfortable and a gorgeous location. Pictures and description are accurate, the home is clean and furnished with lovely decorations and furniture. We especially enjoyed sitting out on the porch, using the yard, and going to down to the beach. Booking the home was very easy; owner was quick to respond and able to answer all our questions. There are lots of tourist attractions around the North Shore, but really everything I wanted was right at the home: a relaxing beach vacation with gorgeous views. We napped in hammocks under the Hawaiian sun, enjoyed a BBQ in our yard as the sun set over the ocean with the smell of plumeria and coconut in the air. This is the kind of Hawaiian vacation you see in the movies. I’ve already recommended the home to some of my friends and family, and we’ll definitely stay again.
