This listing  is composed of  2 separate units- Unit 115 and Unit 121. Together they can accommodate up to 10 guests. Perfect for the family or large groups. Our location is quite central in Kahana which makes it convenient to all the markets, restaurants, and island activities.

Hale Ono Loa (#115)

***New King Bed 2017 and New Queen Sleeper Sofa 2017, New Dishwasher 2017****There has been a sinkhole discovered just beyond the lanai of this unit.  The repairs have been a work in progress, going slowly, as we coordinate and work alongside Maui county to ensure the issue is remedied properly.  We are not sure of the ETA for completion, though we are continuing to rent the unit. A chain link fence has been erected for safety just past the lanai, so there are no security risks.  As well, we've included a picture in our slideshow to depict your view from the unit, and the fencing.

Our charming condo in paradise is excellently situated at this property amidst a beautiful tropical setting, but you also have a glimpse of the ocean from your lanai. Easy access onto a grassy knoll from the lanai provides a great area for small children to play. A few steps further? A quiet and serene pool which offers an alternative to some of the bustling and overcrowded resorts. No elevators or long walks to get to the pool! Less than a mile south is Honokawai Beach which is perfect for families with small children, and they have a delightful picnic area that sits directly opposite our local farmers market.

Hale Ono Loa (Unit 121)

There is literally only a yard of grassy lawn between us and the ocean. Our home sits on the corner of the property set apart from the main building (almost like a separate annex). 


In the morning we enjoy our breakfast out on the lanai and watch the sea otters and the sea turtles swim right up to our seawall! What a way to start the day on Maui and if you're lucky enough to be here during whale season (November - May) you don't even need to go on a boat to see these magnificent humpback whales. Just sit back on your lanai every morning and every afternoon you won't be disappointed...we can almost guarantee that you'll witness whale action throughout your visit. 


We've re-designed our kitchen so it is all open and allows you to enjoy our beautiful oceanfront view. The living room, dining area and guest bedroom all share the same view. The guest bedroom is just off of the living room and has a louver door to provide for extra privacy. We've added a full size sleep sofa which provides for additional bedding. 


The swimming pool is located close by to our unit and there is a convenient staircase that leads down to the ocean for easy access for swimming. Less than a mile south is Honokawai Beach which is perfect for families with small children; they have a delightful picnic area and it sits directly opposite our local farmers market or head less than a mile north of us and visit Kahana Beach. 

Our location is quite central in Kahana which makes it convenient to all the markets, restaurants and island activities. We have a grocery service that you may wish to take advantage of. This is especially nice if you're arriving late in the evening and allows you to have the basic staples already in your unit for the following morning. Be sure to ask at the time you reserve our unit.

The Hawaiian Islands have some of the most remote and benign tropical rainforests in the world. Nevertheless, like any moist and fertile environment, you may find some ants, mosquitoes, roaches and critters like little geckos that share this beautiful world with humans. To keep out bugs, remember to close the doors right after entering. Don't leave food or crumbs on counters or tables and avoid eating at the bed because ants are really smart and fast.

Please remember that this is somebody’s home, and not a hotel so please leave the home as you found it.
